Vipop’s fashion earring collection draws on the rich history of ear jewellery in South America, such as the Balsa wood earplugs of Ecuador’s Huaorani community, beaded earrings of Brazil’s Kayapó tribe, and the feather and shell earrings of Brazil’s Guaraní people. In keeping with the traditions of these indigenous communities, which throughout human history have developed harmonious methods of sustainably sourcing materials for decorative and domestic purposes, Vipop’s handmade earring brands work closely with expert beaders and jewellery artists to ensure fair trade practices and ethical support of the local community, bringing these earrings to women in Hong Kong, and all around the world.
